Digital Knowledge Management
A plethora of online tools has made it easier than ever to create, distribute and store information and content collectively. However, not every tool is equally suitable for every purpose.
This workshop led by journalist and media lecturer Daniel Lehmann looks at the pros and cons of Etherpads, in-house wikis and cloud-storage services and evaluates how knowledge can best be managed for the long term in those places. In addition, the basics of rights management and password protection are introduced, along with an explanation of how your own team should be prepared for the use of these.
