During the first part of the workshop the results from a status analysis of European social security systems will be presented. The research focused on the following systems: pension, unemployment, and parental leave in these five European countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, and Portugal.
After that we will hear assessments of these systems from the perspectives of those affected by them, such as associations and art workers from the respective countries.
Then we will discuss these results with experts from this field.
In the second part, the workshop participants will be divided into three groups of 10 people each to discuss good practice examples on the following topics and to identify possible solutions for Germany:
- Retirement (Think Tank 1)
- Unemployment (Think Tank 2)
- Parental leave (Think Tank 3)
The workshop will finish with a closing session that will reflect and contextualize what has been discussed during the Think Tanks.
The workshop will be held in English and online on zoom. A registration is possible until August 28th, 2022. You can register here.
